Ingredients:
6 artichokes
Olive oil
1 Garlic (minced)
1/4 cup Panko bread crumbs
1/3 cup Parmesan cheese
Salt & fresh black pepper
1 Lemon
Instructions:
Prepare a pot with water and lemon juice. Add the artichokes to the water as you clean them to prevent oxidation. .
Before cooking you must first clean and trim the artichokes. Cut the stem off, remove the outer leaves, and cut the tips off the leaves.
Bring the pot to the fire and boil for 20 minutes.
Drain the water
Preheat the oven at 220 Celcius / 428 Farenheit
In a small bowl mix the panko bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, garlic and olive oil.
Generously drizzle a baking pan with olive oil and place the artichokes slices. Top each artichoke with the bread crumb mixture. Roast for 15 minutes.
